Fire Regulations
Booth decorations and construction must conform to local fire regulations. Combustible or explosive materials and substances may not be used. All exhibitors will adhere to regulations governing exhibits and displays in places of public and private assembly as established by Bell County Expo Center. FIRE REGULATIONS MUST BE OBSERVED!! NO SMOKING IN THE EXHIBIT HALL!!
For any motor vehicle parked inside the Exhibit Building during occupancy, the following conditions must be met: 1) Fuel tanks shall not be more than ¼ full. 2) Fuel caps shall be taped shut or fitted with a locking cap. 3) Batteries must be disconnected and leads taped. 4) All portable power equipment with internal combustion engines must not contain any fuel.
Liability & Insurance
The exhibitor assumes complete responsibility and liability for losses, damage, and claims arising out of injury or damage to exhibitor displays, equipment, and other property brought upon the premises of the Bell County Expo Center and shall indemnify and hold harmless the facilities and TCEI’s officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims. If insurance is desired, it must be placed by the exhibitor.
Care of Premises
Nothing may be posted, nailed, screwed, or otherwise attached to the walls, floors, or other parts of the building or furniture. No taping to walls is permitted.
Distribution of promotional stickers or labels is prohibited. Any charges in connection with cleaning or removal of such material and any damages to the premises, booth equipment and furnishings will be payable by the exhibitor. Any exceptions must first secure approval from the TCEI Facilities Director.
Photograph/ Video Disclaimer
Texas Communications Expo Inc. (TCEI) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by TCEI, without the expressed written permission of the registrant or exhibitor included within the photograph/video.
TCEI may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by TCEI including but not limited to: marketing materials, websites, newsletters, etc.
Any registrant or exhibitor desiring not to have their photo taken or distributed must contact the TCEI office in writing of his/her intentions.
Restrictions
TCEI reserves the right to restrict any exhibit that, for any reason becomes objectionable, and may prohibit or evict any exhibit which in the opinion of TCEI may detract from the general character of the exposition. In the event of such prohibition, eviction, or restriction, TCEI shall not be liable for any exhibit expenses.
Any exhibitor who intends to utilize any type of audio equipment or noise-making devices that might be heard outside his booth area shall first secure approval from TCEI’s Facilities Director of such equipment before the exhibits open. Exhibitors operating such equipment or devices shall do so at a level that will not interfere with other exhibitors, or TCEI may require discontinuance of their use. All demonstrations, interviews and other exhibit activities must be conducted so as not to infringe on the rights of other exhibitors or offend visitors to the exhibits. Any exhibitor utilizing music is responsible for securing and paying licensing fee/agreement for public performance of copyrighted music, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TCEI and Bell County Expo Center for any claims or causes of action arising there from.
